Meet nIQUE J

From an early age, Nique J has been captivated by the power of music. Growing up in a diverse musical environment, she developed a deep appreciation for a wide range of genres, from hip-hop, to funk and soul. This eclectic upbringing provided the foundation for her journey into the world of DJing. 

With relentless dedication, she honed her skills, learning the intricacies of beat matching, blending tracks seamlessly, and creating electrifying transitions that keep the dance floor alive.

Nique J has been djing for 5 years, since 2019, and has had the opportunity to present her own Radio show on Injection radio, play at events such as Looney Choonz, Antidote Ldn, Flipper's London, We The NC's Roll On London, Empowr CIC, Get The Lemon's Out, The Jam, Werk The Floor London dance battle, Wine & Soul - Wine Tasting events, Peng Tingz Week (IndaHouse UK), For Da Gyal Dem, to name but a few.  She is also part of a collective called The Midnight Train, a collective of dancers/ musicians who love to DJ all genres of music, and curate various events throughout the year. 

One of the milestones in Nique J’s career has been securing a place with many other DJs, playing at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace - Roller skating rink.  Flipper’s has become a space where she can experiment, refine her skills, and forge a deep connection with her audience.  Nique J is also the resident DJ for Final Call Productions - a faith based ministry that puts on spoken word events.  

Nique J values the connection with her audience. She thrives on the energy and enthusiasm of the crowd, constantly seeking ways to engage and involve them in the musical journey. She ensures that every moment becomes a shared experience.  

Nique J envisions a future with endless possibilities.  She dreams of taking her performances to larger stages and diverse audiences around the world.
