Meet LA MINX

La Minx has always had a keen taste for a variety of music "I started showing a keen interest in mixing music when inspired by watching friends mix on the Technic 1210's years ago. I decided to buy a set of my own and it went from there really."

La Minx started out playing for friends' birthday parties as there was always a big sound onboard and a 'club-like' atmosphere. "Not long into it I stumbled across some bar owners and after  a few conversations and meet up's at the bar I was invited to play a guest mix at a club night giving me the chance of being Resident dj on the weekends, places like the Thomas a Beckett where I was one of their Resident Dj's for two years plus". 

La Minx would often pick up events from other club nights and has played in Coventry as well as internationally; Switzerland and South of France. "I have also featured in my own club nights   and will be starting them up again this year once spring arrives." 

La Minx has featured in many London Venues and brands such as House Therapy and Gaana Brunch also given oppurtuntites to grace places such as Tiger Tiger, Hidden, The Brickstone, Brixton Jamm, CR7 Lounge, Riva and many more. 

La Minx also features her own radio show on a fortnightly basis on a Thursday night called 'Showdown Sessions' on Sound Source Radio and previously Ambition Radio and a few others. 

"I am a Resident of an Artist showcase called Urban Apocalypse which is run in Acardia night club on a monthly basis and show case for the Love 4 Lyrics Talent Show. I have show cased many artist on festival stages like Blythe Hill and work as part of a duo called MINXX which also featured at Also festival 2023."

La Minx is currently working on production of my own sound and hope to release music this year. She hopes to be more involved with music and hopes to hit a few more festival stages as she enjoys the buzz from a big crowd. 

"I also own my own sound system and take on private party bookings with my sound and lighting.  My style of play is very unique and I am still crafting my skills to perfection."

"I also get inspiration from  artist such as Black Coffee and Kabza de Small due to their style of play and there melodic production"
