Meet dj GROUNDED

DJ Grounded bought her first controller in 2023 and has been obsessed with the art of DJing ever since!

"I started off by playing sets at all of my friends’ birthday parties. Because of that, I have started to get noticed, and I have played at a good few events since, including at clubs like Venue 295 and The Mix. I am passionate and a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to DJing, and it’s my goal to perfect the craft."

The name DJ Grounded stems for always being grounded as a child. DJ Grounded's father-in-law who taught her how to DJ would always call her DJ Grounded. "Unfortunately at the time I didn’t take DJing seriously, but I would always be the one with the aux in the car, or the portable speaker at the park, so the name stuck!"

DJ Grounded is a huge fan of Modern Dancehall music and loves the hype sounds of Skeng, Valiant and Rajah Wild to name a few.
